Apple Crisp


Scrumptious Paleo-Friendly Apple Crisp

Ingredients: 5-8 apples (cored & sliced, peel if desired) 2 cups nuts (any mixture of almonds, walnuts, pecans) 1 Tbsp cinnamon Ground cloves to taste 4 Tbsp coconut oil 2 Tbsp honey 2-3 Tbsp maple syrup 1 lemon juiced (may use bottled lemon juice) Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 300 2. Pulse nuts in food processor until coarse grain-like consistency 3. Melt together coconut oil, honey, & maple syrup 4. Add cinnamon and clove to honey mixture 5. Mix together nuts and honey mixture 6. Layer enough apples to fill a pie dish or 8x8 pan, cover with lemon juice 7. Spread the topping over the apples 8. Bake for 45-50 minutes 9. Enjoy tremendously!!
